WRITES JOKES SITTING DOWN.

TELLS THEM STANDING UP.

Carolyn is a writer and stand up comedian based in New York City. A PhD dropout, she now regularly performs in comedy clubs and venues around the world. Timeout NY called her “sharp and salty.” Carolyn created, produces and co-hosts the popular Dyking Out podcast which has been featured in a ‘best of’ list by Logo and featured by A.V. Club, Vulture, Apple Podcasts, Broadway World and more. Dyking Out was selected by Spotify as one of 15 podcasts to join their inaugural incubator program. Past guests include Rosie O’Donnell, Margaret Cho, Desiree Akhavan, Alison Bechdel, and Jenna Lyons. She also hosts and produces the A League of Their Own Recap Podcast, where she recaps episodes alongside writers from the show.

Carolyn produces and hosts a regularly sold-out show at The Stonewall Inn, as well as a holiday variety show at the famed Joe’s Pub in NYC. She also produces and hosts the popular live queer dating show “Love’s a Pitch.” She's performed in the New York, Cinder Block, She Devil (Finalist), Devil's Cup, and Albuquerque comedy festivals. Carolyn is a graduate of the Upright Citizens Brigade sketch and improvisational comedy programs. She’s a former writer for the PITtv series Who Won The Internet, the feminist variety show The Box, and Funny or Die contributor. She has also appeared in videos for Elite Daily and OutliciousTV. In 2018, Carolyn won a development deal with Audible through the New York Television Festival for her project Peace, a scripted comedic podcast. She’s the 2019 grand prize winner of Tello Films Pitch To Production contest and will be working with them to make her web series, IndieGooGoo. She currently produces and hosts comedy shows in partnership with Maker’s Mark and Jägermeister.

Carolyn was born in Montreal, Canada (cool!) and raised outside of Buffalo, New York (less cool!). She won’t shut up about being called a “Bravo Influencer” in the press for her instrumental role in getting Jenna Lyons cast on Real Housewives of New York.
