Carolyn Bergier

Writes jokes sitting down. Tells them standing up.

Carolyn is a writer and stand up comedian based in New York City. A PhD dropout, she now regularly performs in comedy clubs and bars around the city, country, and Canada when she's feeling fanc-eh.  Carolyn produces and co-hosts the Dyking Out podcast which has been featured in a best of list by Logo. She's performed in the Cinder Block, She Devil (Finalist), and Devil's Cup comedy festivals. Carolyn is a graduate of the Upright Citizens Brigade sketch and improvisational comedy programs. She’s a winner of the monthly sketch competition Sketch Slam and had her sketch show “Father Hannigan Wants the Deets” performed at The Tank theater. She’s a former writer for the PITtv web series Who Won The Internet, a current writer for the feminist variety show The Box, and a Funny or Die contributor. She has also appeared in videos for Elite Daily and OutliciousTV.

Carolyn was born in Montreal, Canada (cool!) and raised outside of Buffalo, New York (less cool!). She's looking to beat her current claim to fame, which is that she was a contestant on the premiere episode of NBC's short-lived Million Second Quiz. She lost big time, so don't ask her if you can borrow money.
